Introduction
We built these ceiling infrared heaters for one simple reason: to get heat exactly where you need it. No wasted energy. No fuss. For an open-air restaurant, that means turning a dead space in winter into a spot that’s actually making you money. This isn’t some fancy decoration. It’s a workhorse, built to handle tough conditions and keep delivering steady warmth, day after day.
The Power Behind the Heat
Here’s the heart of it: a high-density halogen element, pumping out 2500W of power. That kind of punch creates the intense infrared heat needed to warm people and surfaces from a distance, even when the wind is doing its best to ruin the day. We run these on 400V, the standard for commercial spaces. That voltage keeps the electrical load in check, so you can run several heaters on one circuit without tripping breakers. And the tube itself? It’s around 300mm long. That keeps the whole unit low-profile, so it mounts cleanly to the ceiling without getting in the way.
Built to Last
The halogen element lives inside a quartz tube. Why? Because quartz handles extreme temperature swings without cracking. Inside, halogen gas lets the filament burn hotter and brighter, which means it lasts longer. The tube is coated to focus the heat downward. So you get the warmth right where you want it, and very little is wasted. The connection is an R7s base. It’s tough, industrial, and simple to wire. It holds tight even with vibration, and when it’s time for a replacement, the whole tube is an easy drop-in.
Turning Winter into a Win
Picture your open-air restaurant in the cold months. These heaters carve out a warm pocket, heating tables, chairs, and your guests directly—not the air around them. That means you can keep seating comfortable even when the temperature takes a dive. You’re not shutting down for the season. You’re opening for winter business, welcoming more guests and turning more tables. Just keep one thing in mind: this is serious heat. Make sure your ceiling mounts can handle the load, and that the area has enough clearance and ventilation.
