You feel the heat immediately, even if the air around you is freezing. By switching to shortwave IR, you don’t have to maintain a massive “bubble” of hot air. The energy hits the glass directly. This means your ramp-up time drops and your monthly power bill actually looks reasonable for once. The nitty-gritty on the gear We don’t just throw any lamp in there. We pick the wattage based on what your specific batch needs. High-wattage quartz tubes are great because they pack a punch and get the job done fast. But there’s a catch. When you squeeze that much power into a small space, it puts a lot of stress on the ends of the lamps. You’ll want to make sure your power supplies are steady.
