The Power Behind the Heat
At the heart of it is a powerful infrared heating element. It runs on standard mains voltage, so installation is straightforward. We’ve sized the heat output to fit the typical senior care room, and the unit itself is long and slim. It spreads out the radiant surface without eating up precious floor space. This means it warms up fast. Really fast. But here’s the thing—because it’s so focused, you do need to plan for proper air handling and ventilation around it.
Built to Last, Built to Adapt
We chose a high-purity quartz tube for the heating element. Why? Because it can handle the constant heating up and cooling down without cracking. It also lets that short-wave infrared energy pass through cleanly, with almost no loss. Inside, a halogen gas fill keeps the filament temperature steady, so the heater holds up even when it’s switched on and off a lot. And the whole thing is designed as a direct, drop-in replacement. It uses a standard R7s connector, so it’s simple to wire up and easy to service. No downtime. No headaches.
